Commissioner, National Service Territory 3
Rick TerBorch is the National Service Territory 3 Commissioner. He previously served as the Western Region Area 4 Commissioner. Rick also serves on the Los Padres Council Executive Board and as an Assistant Council Commissioner as well as a Chair for one of his Council’s Eagle Boards of Review. Except for the six years where he was a Scoutmaster, he has been continuously registered as a Unit Commissioner since 1981. He is a past Council President for the Los Padres Council and has served as Council Commissioner to three Councils. He is a past member of the National Law Enforcement Exploring Committee.
Rick has been continuously registered in the Boy Scouts of America since initially joining as a Boy Scout in 1959. Rick is an Eagle Scout, Vigil Honor Member of the Order of the Arrow, received his Wood Badge beads, and has received numerous Scouting recognitions, including: the Silver Antelope, Silver Beaver and William H. Spurgeon Awards, the NESA Outstanding Eagle Scout Award, The Lamb religious award, the Scoutmaster Award of Merit, and the Distinguished Commissioner Service Award, Commissioner Excellence in Unit Service Award and Doctorate in Commissioner Science award.
